In the first half of this session, learn about the services available through the Volunteer Center and how to use volunteermilwaukee.org, the web-based system for listing volunteer opportunities. This portion of the session will cover what programs the Volunteer Center has to offer and how to use the website as a tool for recruitment including writing, entering, and updating opportunities. The second half of the session will cover the topic area listed with each date. This orientation is for coordinators new to their positions, agencies new to the Volunteer Center, and coordinators that may need a refresher. What could you do if only you had a volunteer to lead the project? What might be on your wish list? Share with us your special project needs and we will discuss how the Volunteer Center can help you.
