Milwaukee has one of the nation’s highest poverty rates for families with children. The city also has one of the country’s highest rates of childhood disability. The forum will feature the latest research on the link between poverty and disability, not just among children, but adults and older adults as well. A panel discussion among experts in poverty and disability will offer practical ideas for addressing these issues. Featured Panelists include representatives from: Wisconsin Council on Children & Families, Disability Rights Wisconsin and other experts.
