Mission: The Funding Information Center is designed to provide current information for the fund-seeking public and those doing research on private foundations, philanthropy, nonprofit organization and management, volunteerism, fundraising, grantmaking, and letter and proposal writing.
One of over 200 cooperating collections of the Foundation Center (NY), the Funding Information Center is a resource library of books, directories, and periodicals for use by members of the nonprofit community. The FIC also produces the directory Foundations in Wisconsin which profiles the active grantmaking foundations in the state.
Providing services in:
Fundraising (The Funding Information Center provides orientation sessions twice a month to acquaint users with the multiple resources on private foundations, fundraising, and letter and proposal writing located in the Center.)
